F&A Continental Training Centre recently conducted visits to Amadiyya and Ansarul Secondary Schools in Lungi Masoila as part of its ongoing efforts to connect with young people and provide practical vocational training opportunities. The initiative is aimed at students who may not have completed formal academic programs but are eager to develop skills that can lead to employment or entrepreneurship.
During the visits, F&A Continental trainers and staff engaged with students, introducing them to the Centre’s programs in ICT, electronics, mechanics, tailoring, and other vocational skills. The team provided demonstrations, answered questions about career opportunities, and encouraged students to consider hands-on training as a pathway to building their future.
Empowering Students Through Practical Skills
The school visits were designed to inspire students and showcase the wide range of vocational training opportunities available at F&A Continental Training Centre. Students learned about programs that can equip them with marketable skills in technology, trades, and creative fields.
Mr. Abu West Bangura, Founder & Director of F & A Continental Training Centre, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academic studies and practical skills during the visits. The Centre’s commitment to reaching out to schools reflects its dedication to making vocational education accessible to all young people in the community.
Building Partnerships for Student Success
This collaboration marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership with Amadiyya and Ansarul Secondary Schools to identify and support students interested in hands-on learning and career-focused training. The Centre plans to continue these outreach efforts, expanding to other schools in the region to ensure that more young people have access to quality vocational education.
By connecting directly with students in their schools, F & A Continental Training Centre is helping to shape the next generation of skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders in Sierra Leone.

The trainers demonstrated various skills and technologies to engaged students, sparking interest in fields such as desktop publishing, electrical installation, mechanics, and tailoring. Many students expressed excitement about the possibility of gaining practical skills that could lead to immediate employment or starting their own businesses.
F&A Continental Training Centre remains committed to empowering the youth of Sierra Leone through accessible, high-quality vocational education that opens doors to sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.
